Board
of Regents Program Approval
The Board of Regents,
at its meeting on October 12, 2005, approved KSUÕs request to establish a
major in Interdisciplinary Studies under the Bachelor of Science degree.
Bagwell
College of Education
Policy
is revised for all Education majors under Major Field Experiences ÒStudent
TeachingÓ to include criteria related to what constitutes a successful experience.
This revised policy also includes guidelines regarding the assignment of I,
W, S, U, WF for student teaching.
College of Humanities and Social Sciences
Modern Language
and Culture major replaces ENGL 2140 with ARH 2750 under itsCross-Disciplinary
Perspectives concentration.

of Science and Mathematics
¥ Information Security Assurance major adds
ISA 3200 Network Security to its upper division major requirements, and moves
ISA 4350 Computer Forensics to one of the options under major electives. In
addition, ISA 4810, Cyber Defense is added as an upper division major requirement.

Changes made to the upper divisionÔs major requirements under the General
Chemistry track and Biochemistry major include replacing CHEM 3105/L Inorganic Synthesis with CHEM 3110/L
Bioinorganic Chemistry.
Minor Program Revision
Revisions
in the Dance Minor include changes to credit hours, course titles, and minor
requirements. The change in minor requirements requires that students take
a diversified mix of dance courses in each major area of dance.

Board of Regents Approval (Master of Art in Teaching (MAT)
The Board of Regents, at its meeting
on September 7, 2005, approved the establishment of a Master of Arts in Teaching
degree. The programÕs first cohort
starts in the 2006 summer semester.
Master of Science in Applied Computer Science (MSACS) Program
The
MS in Applied Computer Science adds the option of two thesis courses.

Program
