Responsibilities:
Kennesaw State University is now accepting applications for a tenure-track assistant professorship in Twentieth-Century Postcolonial African literature, in the Department of English, beginning August 2005. Responsibilities include teaching courses that examine African literatures from a comparative, international perspective for English and English Education majors, for the interdisciplinary African and African Diaspora B.A., for an African and African-American Studies minor, and teaching general education courses (freshman composition and, in particular, develop an instructional unit on African literatures that faculty can use as part of a world literature course required of all students). Preferred candidates will have an earned doctorate, relevant college teaching experience, and evidence of current scholarship.
