KSU 101. Kennesaw State University Freshman Seminar. 5-0-5. Prerequisite: None. An elective course for freshmen and transfer students with less than 90 credit hours. The course is designed to acquaint them with the campus and its programs in order to foster the establishment of appropriate links between student needs and available campus resources. The course emphasizes the development of university “survival skills,” such as study methods, time management and effective oral and written communication. In addition, KSU 101 aids students in selecting a major and identifying career interests and in developing good interpersonal relationships with students and faculty.
