Freshman Profile

For the past decade, KSU freshmen have posted a combined average SAT between 1000 and 1100 composite. Honors freshmen and Joint Enrollment Honors average over 1200. The average high school entering grade point average for fall 2007 is 3.16 . KSU does not weight high school honors courses in favor of the grade point.

Freshmen typically make up 12% of Kennesaw State University’s student body. The freshmen class at KSU is a diverse group of students from all over the world. They are primarily from many of our local surrounding counties including Cobb, Cherokee, Fulton, Bartow, and Paulding. The average age of the applying freshman is 18.6 and 62% of the applying freshmen class is female.
