The blended spirit of these advance track sessions seek to illustrate the shared enrollment practices and interactions between Admissions and Records operations and how they may be influenced by campus governance, reporting, pricing thresholds, budgets or scholarship implications. Each advance track session will be presented by single or joint speakers and/or panels representing both admissions and records. These sessions vary from year to year, but address current topics of interest to benefit experienced professionals.
The GISEM curriculum is intended to help participants recognize graduated levels of Enrollment Service Offices or Enrollment Management models. Traditional models include:
- Decentralized offices/silos reporting to different dean, VPs or President
- Centralized ES offices reporting to one dean or VP housed with Student Affairs
- Centralized ES offices functioning as "one stop shops" reporting to one dean or VP
- Centralized ES offices with an EM faculty partnership or Committee reporting to one dean or VP
The most advance of these models are tightly coupled configurations that involve faculty/academic participation, support and buy-in to create the best enrollment management outcomes.
