Responsibilities Include: Providing leadership, direction, development, and implementation of the admissions programs; developing and directing the recruitment program, coordinating activities which support the recruitment, advisement, and enrollment of undergraduate applicants; problem solve and trouble shoot issues from students, parents, faculty, staff and high school guidance counselors.

ADMISSIONS:
Established, coordinated and attained strategic enrollment goals for admissions in new student enrollment; Increased new student enrollment by 16.2 percent fall 2001; Supervised the efforts of the admissions staff to exceed the national enrollment trend in new student yield rates since fall 2002; Coordinate the efforts to make the Early Enrollment Program more assessable by collaborating with high school and technical division constituencies; Increased the enrollment of the Dual Enrollment Program by 80 percent; Serve as academic advisor to more that 50 Accel Program, new and former students; Established standards, regulations and policies for implementation of the 2001 new Admissions Standards posed by the University System of Georgia; Create, and administer admissions policies and procedures according to the USG guidelines; Serve as Residency Officer in determining residency status; Facilitate divisional compliance with state and federal mandates;  Negotiate and communicate terms of admissions for the adult literacy, mini-certificate, certificate, transfer, career associates, and bachelor degree programs based on DTAE and USG policies and procedures; Oversee the production process of admissions applications to determine enrollment eligibility for 5,000 + annual case load, by supervising and training staff in the use of BANNER Student Information System; Supervised, hired, and trained faculty transfer evaluators during summer 1997; Supervise, hire, train and conduct performance evaluations for admissions staff; Use select training and motivational skills to develop programs to teach parents, prospective, current and returning students concerning the enrollment process; Presenter for local, state, and regional professional association conferences.

RECRUITMENT:
Develop and administer the recruitment, and training programs; Oversee activities that support the recruitment and enrollment of undergraduate applicants: High School Visitation, College & Career Fairs, Health Fairs, Trade & Technical Shows, Business & Industry Visitation, Student for a Day (2004-present), S.T.A.R. Program (2003-present), SDU Counselor Workshop (2002-present), Regents Transfer Engineering Program Reception (2003-present), Introduction to Honors Program Campaign (2005), DSC Foundation Freshmen Scholarship Program Campaign (2002-present), Senior Days Program (1990-present); Oversee, and manage the staffing of the volunteers to cover the campus visitation program events; Assist in the development and implementation of the institutional marketing plan.
