Joint Enrollment Honors Program
Information about Joint Enrollment
The Joint Enrollment Honors Program at Kennesaw State University provides an opportunity for academically-accelerated high school juniors and seniors to take college courses in lieu of remaining high school requirements and electives. Students earn dual credit, fulfilling both high school and college requirements at the same time. JEHP students may choose as few or as many college courses as they wish, up to five classes per semester. Full-time JEHP students take all of their coursework at KSU, and may complete their entire freshman year before graduating from high school. Part-time JEHP students attend high school for some classes and typically leave the high school early to take one or more classes at KSU. JEHP students may choose from courses in English, Math, Social Sciences, Science, Foreign Languages, and Economics. Students may select regular KSU classes or smaller Honors classes in high-demand subjects. Tuition and most fees are funded by the Accel Program of the HOPE Scholarship, making JEHP an affordable head-start on college.
