Congratulations on your son or daughter's admission to Kennesaw State University! Whether this is your first student to go to college or your last to leave home, you will find that your student needs your support and guidance.

Kennesaw State University’s Student Success Services Orientation Programs Center coordinates a campus-wide orientation program designed to facilitate a smooth transition for first-year and transfer undergraduate students by providing them with information needed to ensure success. Orientation provides opportunities to meet with peers, faculty and staff, and to learn about services offered to students. Students also meet with academic advisors and learn about academic programs and requirements, and register for classes. First-year and transfer orientations dates are scheduled prior to each semester.

Parent orientation sessions are designed to address matters of particular interest to you as a parent or guardian. During parent orientation you will receive an overview of campus resources available to your student, learn important financial aid information, learn about campus safety, as well as learn strategies for supporting the successful transition of your student to the university setting. Parent sessions are scheduled prior to each fall semester.
