KSU is truly a “treasure in our own backyard.” KSU provides a superb academic environment and serves as an example to campuses around the country for its student leadership program. KSU recognizes and develops the leadership qualities in our students that are so vital to their individual success and to the future growth and development of our families, communities and country.

Our oldest son recently graduated with a bachelor of fine arts degree. In addition to the many opportunities offered to him in the arts program – including a trip to Paris - KSU offered him numerous leadership opportunities, including positions on student government and the Kennesaw Activities Board and the opportunity to charter a new campus fraternity. The sense of community is strong, and the staff and professors at KSU provided much needed support to him and our family when his Marine reserve unit was activated and he had to drop out of school temporarily.

Our second son is currently enrolled at KSU and is also an art major and involved in various campus activities. Our third son is still in high school, but aspires to attend KSU because of the experiences of his older brothers. We are grateful for the excellent art program offered at KSU, the opportunities offered to all students and for the friendliness and professionalism of the staff and professors.
