Our youngest son, who had always planned to leave the state for college, spent his entire senior year of high school at KSU in the joint enrollment program . Not only did he have an excellent academic experience, it served as a valuable transition to the even greater independence of college far from home.

Our middle son just graduated from KSU with a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre and Performance Studies and is a theatrical lighting designer. It was incredible that he was able to be part of such a strong program in his field so close to home. Perhaps the highlight of his time at KSU occurred this past fall when he traveled with a small group from the theatre department to Shanghai, China to present the play "The Monkey King" for which he was the lighting designer.
