Bagwell College of Education

The Leland and Clarice C. Bagwell College of Education has nationally accredited programs. Kennesaw State University is accredited by the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE) and its programs are approved by the Georgia Professional Standards Commission.

Departments include elementary and early-childhood education, secondary and middle-grades education, and health, physical education and sports science.
Students may choose from a menu of tracks for their teaching careers: early childhood, middle grades, English, mathematics, science social science, foreign languages (French or Spanish), art, music and health and physical education. The Bagwell College also offers the master of education in early-childhood education (P-5), middle-grades education (4-8) and special education.

The Teacher Resource and Activity Center, known as TRAC, and the Educational Technology Center help future educators learn how to use the tools of their trade, from textbooks to the latest educational technology.
