College of Humanities
& Social Sciences

The College of Humanities and Social Sciences strives to help students develop a better understanding of the great literary, philosophical and cultural achievements of world civilizations. The college also assists students in developing the interpersonal and communication skills necessary for professional success.

Bachelor degrees are offered in communication, English, foreign languages, history, political science, international affairs, psychology. The college also offers the master of public administration degree, a master of science in conflict management and a master of arts in professional writing.

In addition, the College of Humanities and Social Sciences offers a wide variety of electives, including anthropology, criminal justice, geography, German, Italian, Japanese, Russian, philosophy, and sociology.

The college provides services to the community through the A.L. Burruss Institute of Public Services located on campus. Army and Air Force ROTC are available to KSU students in cross-registration with GA Tech. A number of cultural and educational enrichment programs are regularly offered reaching the campus community and the community at large.
