 What:
A new student organization. Limited membership. Applications required.
Purpose:
Perpetuate and promote the traditions of KSU. Cultivate leadership, interest and enthusiasm which will result in a stronger, more unified alumni body. Develop a mindset of giving among the student body; organization dues go directly to scholarship.
Benefits:
Eligible for annual scholarship. Access to high level alumni for mentorship. Access to trustees and university officials, including the Alumni Association Board. Eligible for prestigious roles, such as serving as a Marshall at Commencement. Invitation to, and the opportunity to network with KSU Foundation and Alumni Association Board members at special events. Experience sponsoring, planning and running campus activities and events.
Eligibility:
Minimum GPA 3.0. 300 word essay. Class year, major, participation in other KSU groups, and other leadership roles considered for application. Reviewed and candidates selected.
Membership:
$25 annual dues, 100% of which go to scholarship. Once established, members can vote to allow more members. Can fundraise for greater operating funds.
