| Welcome
Administrative
Professional Day is a day designed specifically for
Administrative Staff which is recognized annually on the last
Wednesday in April. This event is sponsored by the President’s
Office, where Dr. Papp, President of KSU, recognizes
Administrative Associates for their hard work, dedication, and
formally thanks each staff member for their great service to the
University.
Guests are greeted at the door by members of the President’s
cabinet, College Deans and other volunteers who assist in giving
each guest a small token of appreciation during this celebratory
event. The program begins with a continental breakfast followed
by opening remarks and introduction of the keynote speaker.
After the opening session, guests have the opportunity to attend
rotating break-out sessions. These sessions include discussions
on topics such as Conflict Management: How to Deal with
Difficult Situations, 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, and
Exceptional Customer Service. Breakout sessions are held for one
hour. Having rotating sessions allows each guest to participate
in their choice of two topics. At the conclusion of the second
rotating session, the program concludes at 12:15 pm.
Administrative Professional Day is
an initiative of the
Center for
University Learning.
