Kennesaw, GA—The Kennesaw State University School of Music will present a performance of the Kennesaw State University Orchestra on Feb. 18 at 8 p.m. in the performance hall of the Dr. Bobbie Bailey & Family Performance Center. The concert will feature clarinetist Theresa Stephens (music, 2008), last year’s winner of KSU’s annual concerto competition.

The concert will consist of the full orchestra’s performances of Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky’s “Serenade for Strings,” Claude Debussy’s “Premiere Rhapsody,” and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s 25th Symphony. KSU Director of Orchestras, Michael Alexander, describes this event as “an opportunity to see accomplished students performing an interesting and exciting repertoire.”

Tickets to the performance are $5. For more information, or to purchase tickets, please visit www.kennesaw.edu/arts or call the box office at 770-423-6650.
