
Kennesaw State presents a lecture recital on New Orleans composers

On Feb. 26, the music department at Kennesaw State University will present a lecture recital entitled "Creole Romantic Composers of New Orleans."
Assistant Professor of Music History and Violin Edward Eanes, assisted by Associate Professor of Opera and Musical Theatre Russell Young, Instructor of Voice Jana Young and Professor of Piano David Watkins, will present works from accomplished Creole and New Orleans composers, including Edmond Dede and Louis Moreau Gottschalk.
This Year of the Atlantic World event occurs at 6:30 p.m. in the Dr. Bobbie Bailey & Family Performance Center. Admission is free. For more information, call the box office at 770-423-6650.
