The Art Place at Mountain View will present "We've Got It Covered!," an exhibition of book arts featuring five Kennesaw State University students. The show opened on Feb. 7 and runs through Feb. 29.

Curated by KSU Assistant Professor of Art Natasha Lovelace Habers, the exhibition is an example of the ongoing collaboration between the university and Cobb County, which operates The Art Place.

More importantly, the show highlights an artform that isn't as well known as other forms.

"This is an exhibition because it offeres a very good representation of an artform that most people don't think about," said student artist Emily Lester. "Book arts aren't commonly featured in this way. To have a full exhibition is really great."

The other artists are Vivian Lai, April Petty, Ansley Sprouell and Amy Step. They are all current or former students of Habers.

The Art Place at Mountain View is located at 3330 Sandy Plains Road in Marietta. Gallery hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.
