
Visions issues call for entries for
25th Annual Juried Student Art Exhibition

Visions, the KSU student art guild, has issued a call for entries for the 25th Annual Juried Student Art Exhibitions. KSU students enrolled in the Summer 2007, Fall 2007 or Spring 2008 semesters are eligible to enter. The submission dates are 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. on March 12 and March 13 in the Art Gallery of the Joe Mack Wilson Building. Each entry must be accompanied by an entry form and an entry fee ($5 for Visions members and $10 for non-members).
Entries will be juried by Kay Kallos, executive director of the Atlanta Contemporary Art Center. In addition to the best of show prize, she will select a top award in each of the following categories: drawing; ceramics; graphic design & digital media; mixed media & alternative processes; painting; photography; printmaking; and sculpture. Best of show will receive a $200 cash prize; category winners receive $100 each.
The exhibition will be held in the Art Gallery of the Wilson Building March 20 through May 8. The reception and awards presentation will take place 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday, March 27.
