By Lauren Highfill

Weeks before opening night, Kennesaw State University’s production of “The Apple Tree” sold out. A co-production of the School of Music and the Department of Theatre and Performance Studies, “The Apple Tree” will be performed at KSU Oct. 21-26.
Based on the short stories “The Diary of Adam and Eve” by Mark Twain, “The Lady or the Tiger” by Frank Stockton and “Passionella” by Jules Feiffer, the musical triptych includes humorous and satirical adaptations of some of our culture’s formative stories, including the Garden of Eden and Cinderella.
The production is directed by Hylan Scott with musical direction by Russell Young.

Show times are 8 p.m. Oct. 21-25 and 2 p.m. Oct. 26 in the Studio Theater of the Joe Mack Wilson Building. Admission is $5.
