The College of the Arts will host a networking reception for Kennesaw State University alumni on Monday, Feb. 15 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at the Alumni House on campus. Called “The Art of Business/The Business of Art,” the evening will include informal chats by John Schmedes, artistic director of TellTale Theatre, and trompe l’oeil artist Robert Meredith, who will also display some of his art.
“I’m really excited about this event,” says Aaron Blowers (theatre & performance studies, 2006), who is helping organize the reception. “It will be a great opportunity to make business connections. I hope to grow a networking group from it.”
Catering, provided by World Wide Journeys, will have a fun, New Orleans feel. Guests will also enjoy door prizes—including original alumni artwork, restaurant gift certificates and Premiere Series tickets to hear the Lionel Loueke Trio. Dress is business casual (or however you dress for your business.)
Guests are asked to RSVP on the Facebook page or on the KSU Alumni site.
