Collaborative art project addresses global issues
"Her Daily Concerns" artwork featured in exhibition

"Her Daily Concerns" art exhibition opened at the Art Station at Big Shanty on Aug. 5. The display features seven podiums, each with one of the banners shown above. The art is designed to address issues specific to the women in the continent represented by the banner.

To create the artwork, KSU students from two different courses, digital illustration and advanced printmaking, worked together during the summer.

The Art Station is located on Kennesaw Due West Road between Stilesboro and Highway 41 at the entrance to Big Shanty Park.
