Georgia's First Lady visits Kennesaw State
Afternoon includes a tour of the Bailey Center
Georgia's new first lady, Sandra Deal, wife of Gov. Nathan Deal, paid a visit to Kennesaw State University on March 4. She toured many KSU facilities and dined with the students at The Commons. She also spent some time in the Bailey Performance Center with her friend, KSU benefactor Bobbie Bailey (above).
She was also given a personal tour of the Clayton Gallery's exhibition of artwork from the KSU Permanent Collection by Arts Dean Joseph Meeks (right) and collection coordinator Matthew Harper.
Later, the first lady, enjoyed listening to the KSU Percussion Ensemble rehearse and even picked up some mallets just for fun.
