The Kennesaw State University School of Music will host a faculty guest recital by acclaimed classical guitarist Adam Holzman on Saturday, April 9 at 8 p.m. in the Performance Hall of the Dr. Bobbie Bailey & Family Performance Center.
Holzman has worked as recording artist, concert performer and soloist for more than 20 years, performing at Carnegie Recital Hall in New York, music festivals across the country and venues in Europe and Latin America. The New York Times reviewed Holzman’s live performance as “polished and quite dazzling,” and while performing in the Netherlands he was named the best American classical guitarist by critics.
Holzman heads the Guitar Department at the University of Texas at Austin.
Tickets for the concert are $15 and can be purchased at the KSU box office or by calling 770-423-6650.
