On Sunday, June 26, guests of the Starlight Summer Concert Series enjoyed an evening of patriotic music, fireworks and songs from American theater and film classics. The Star Spangled Spectacular featured the Georgia Symphony Orchestra (formerly known as the Cobb Symphony Orchestra) and students from the KSU Musical Theatre Ensemble. The evening also included a musical setting of Ernest Thayer's poem "Casey at the Bat," narrated by KSU Associate Professor Harrison Long. Above, a full rainbow makes an appearance on the Campus Green during the performance. Right, KSU students Annie Power (from left), John Stewart, Sarah Peavy, Erik Lindsey and Tamalyn Placencia perform with the Georgia Symphony Orchestra. The next Starlight concert is July 10 at the Legacy Gazebo Amphitheater. For more information, visit here.
