Kennesaw State University Dance Company will participate in "Off the Edge," a weeklong festival of cutting-edge performance presented by Georgia State's Rialto Center, Kennesaw State University and gloATL, Jan. 23-28.
Curated by KSU's artist-in-residence Lauri Stallings, the week begins with the kick-off roundtable at the Atlanta Contemporary Arts, artist to artist workshops and Edge/Public (an all-Atlanta artist performance series in Woodruff Park that is free to the public).
"Off the Edge" concludes the week with the International Guest Artist Series, occurring for 2 nights at the Rialto Center. The KSU Dance Company and gloATL are the only two Atlanta companies featured in the International Guest Artist Series. The KSU Dance Company will present "Rhizome," with choreography by Ivan Pulinkala, director of the KSU Program in Dance.
