Kennesaw State hosts National Brass Symposium
Three-day event features principals from top orchestras

The National Brass Symposium will take June 8-10, 2012 in Kennesaw State University's Dr. Bobbie Bailey & Family Performance Center.
Participants in the three-day event will have the opportunity to perform side-by-side with principals from top orchestras across the country, including Thomas Hooten, KSU instructor and principal trumpet of the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra and Gene Pokorny, principal tuba of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra.
The symposium will comprise of master classes, seminars and a solo competition in addition to concerts featuring large ensemble works, solo recitals, transcriptions and chamber music. For more information and to register, visit the National Brass Symposium website.
