The College of the Arts at Kennesaw State University regularly engages in projects and programs to raise awareness of social issues, build understanding between communities and serve the greater good. Here is a sampling of some of these:

The 2007 Theatre & Performance Studies production of "The Laramie Project" was accompanied by several community discussions examining issues of tolerance regarding sexual orientation. |

Art Education Assistant Prof. Diana Gregory spearheaded an after-school project for under-served children at the Las Colinas apartment complex in Marietta last spring. She and KSU students worked with the children once a week as part of the national "Weed and Seed" project to help the children build life skills through art. |
