Show Your College Spirit

Pretty soon, you'll be able to show the world how much you like the College of the Arts. When the KSU Bookstore opens its new “COTA Store” on Sept. 7, the college's students, faculty, alumni and community supporters will be able to purchase a host of items bearing the COTA logo. During the two-day grand opening celebration, Sept. 7-8, anyone who purchases COTA merchandise will be able to register to win an Apple iPod.

“In the last few years, people have really responded to seeing our staff wearing College of the Arts shirts. They always want to know where they can find things with our logo,” said COTA event coordinator Melanie Dobbins. “The KSU Bookstore was very helpful in creating a way to satisfy this growing demand.”

The list of merchandise initially being offered includes T-shirts, notebooks, mechanical pencils, insulated water bottles and much more.

“We tried to anticipate the kind of items people would want to use, but we're always open to ideas. We'll be able to add to the inventory over time.”

Some of the items being considered for next semester include student-designed T-shirts and boxed sets of student-designed note cards. To submit an idea for future merchandise, e-mail arts@kennesaw.edu.

A percentage of the income from all COTA merchandise will benefit the College of the Arts.
