Students Get Lawless on Drums
When the Atlanta Percussion Trio visited campus for a full day of workshop performances with the students in 1107 (Arts in Society) classes, these general education students were a bit surprised to find KSU Instructor of Percussion John Lawless was one of the members. Music majors, however, know that almost all of Kennesaw State's music professors are members of important ensembles like the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra and the Atlanta Ballet Orchestra. In addition to playing with the APT, Lawless has been the Atlanta Opera's principal timpanist since 1979.
