When are auditions?

What are the requirements for auditions? 
You may visit our pages about dance auditions and music auditions.

Do you offer a major or minor in:

     Dance?  yes, both, an audition is required for majors only.

     Music?  yes, both, auditions are required for both.

     Theatre & Performance Studies?  major only, no audition required.

     Visual Arts? major only, portfolio required for entrance.

Do you require a portfolio for entrance to the Visual Arts program? 

Yes. Please see Portfolio Submission Guidelines.

Is an audition required for Theatre and Performance Studies? 

Not at this time.

Are scholarships available? 

Yes, for Music (majors only) you must audition by the dates in bold. For Dance, scholarships may awarded at the Summer Clinic for Music and Dance or to current seniors who are Dance majors. Scholarships for all of the Arts can be found on the KSU Scholarship web site.

Where are you located? 

The College of the Arts Office of Admissions and Student Services is located in the Wilson Building Room 201.  We are open 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday though Friday.

Do you offer any Master's degrees? 

Yes, we offer a Master of Arts in Teaching Art. For more information, please visit http://www.kennesaw.edu/education/grad.

Do I need to be accepted to the University before I audition/submit my portfolio? 

No, you do not need to be accepted first in order to audition for music or dance, or to submit your portfolio. You do, however, need to be accepted by the University in order to attend classes in the School of Music, Program in Dance, or Visual Arts Department.
