Artist's Notes:

A person loaded with so many defense mechanisms: booby traps, body armor, land mines, and emotional baggage that one must seriously ask, “Is it really worth the treacherous climb to get to know this person?” I think the answer is no.  What little bit of beauty he may have once had to offer has atrophied through the years of his hyper-defense.
