Donor Recognition Program

Although generosity is its own reward, the College of the Arts realizes the importance of saying “thank you” to our many friends. The new College of the Arts Donor Recognition Program aims to show our gratitude throughout the year. In the small ways outlined here, we hope you will learn more about the arts, enjoy many of our arts programs and find ways to share your love and support for the arts with others.

Gifts of artwork may be made to the Permanent Collection. Recordings, sheet music and other items may be donated to the KSU Music Library. All gifts to the Permanent Collection and the Music Library must meet standard guidelines. Please ask for details. The College uses the appraised value of the gift to determine donor level for the Donor Recognition Program.

In-kind gifts may be pre-arranged to meet various needs within the College of the Arts. The value of such gifts is included in the giving totals to determine giving levels for the Donor Recognition Program, where the total value of gifts from one donor in one year exceeds $1,000.

Additional donor recognition may be granted to individuals and businesses sponsoring the Annual Benefit Gala.

All gifts and donations are received by the KSU Foundation, a 501 (c) (3) organization, and therefore are tax deductible. Under IRS guidelines, certain benefits, such as tickets, are not tax deductible. Please consult your tax adviser for details.
