Contest Guidelines:

 

Entries must be original and previously unpublished.

Entries must be no more than 20 pages in length.

Entrants must use a selection of the Pedro illustrations from the image gallery as inspiration for their stories.

By entering, entrants agree for selected stories to be published at the conclusion of the Pedro: Menaboni's Lost Story exhibition at Kennesaw State University. Copyright remains with the author.

The contest is open to all nationalities worldwide,* but entries must be in English.

Entries must be submitted in PDF format, a Microsoft Powerpoint template has been created which can be downloaded here, or you may make up your own.

Images for your submission can be downloaded from the Image Gallery page. They are watermarked for legal purposes but will be replaced with the press quality reproductions for publication.

All submissions will be carefully considered by our panel of judges. The winning submission and the honorable mentions will be contacted in mid-April and announced on the website.

*Persons selected must be eligible to receive payments under US Treasury OFAC guidelines and must complete required documents before any payment will be made. Money awarded to foreign individuals will be taxed at a rate of 30%. And, money can only be awarded to those who are legally eligible to receive a monetary award.
