Ruth Zuckerman

Gifted to the Museum by Bernard Zuckerman in 1999 in memory of his late wife, Ruth Zuckerman, the collection surveys forty years of her work from 1953 to 1993. Objects in the collection include significant sculptures in stone and bronze, photography, paintings, plaster maquettes, and the artistís personal archives. Ruth Zuckerman is best known for her fluid, figurative sculptures, based on universal themes of family, love, and protection. Insieme III, considered the artistís masterwork, is on view in the Anna F. Henriquez Atrium of the Dr. Bobbie Bailey and Family Performance Center, along with fourteen other works by the artist.
