Melissa Fryer joined the staff at Kennesaw State University in the fall of 1993. She was appointed Administrative Secretary in the Department of Music in 1996 and was promoted to the position of Secretary to the Dean of the College of the Arts in 1998. Melissa brought to KSU her impressive experience as an executive secretary at Fortune 500 corporations, including GTE, Lockheed and Union Carbide Corporation, where she was named Employee of the Year for her division in 1992.

A Connecticut native, Melissa enjoys traveling to her home state to visit friends, family and enjoy the New England scenery. But she is equally glad to return to her adopted state where she treasures the milder winters, wonderful friends and her adopted KSU family.
