ONGOING OPPORTUNITIES
Please Note Policies that are Effective Summer 2012: Volunteers must register with VKSU prior to volunteering for any volunteer assignment. Volunteers can only volunteer at agencies and/or events that have been approved by VKSU prior to their start date. Agencies and/or events cannot be approved after you have you begun volunteering and/or completed your volunteer assignment. VKSU reserves the right to remove and/or add an agency and/or event at any time. All VKSU hours must be documented on a VKSU Service Verification Form that you obtain from the VKSU office prior to your volunteer activity. Letters, emails, faxes, and/or phone calls from the individual agencies will not be accepted. VKSU will not award volunteer credit to any volunteer who fails to follow these policies and procedures!

Ushering at the Stillwell Theater & Bailey Performance Center. Volunteers must sign up to usher at the Box Offfice during its office hours and arrive at the time outlined on the signup sheet. Visit the Box Office to find out times when volunteers are needed and sign up, then visit VKSU to get your Service Verification Form. |

| KSU - MUST Community Clinic | Marietta | Need bilingual students to serve as interpreters for Spanish speaking clients in a medical setting. Volunteers might also be asked to translate English to Spanish for education materials.

| KSU Farm Project Apple Springs Farm and Apiary | Ball Ground | Opportunities are available to help plant, weed, hoe, and harvest at the farm. Volunteering at the farm is a great way to earn volunteer service or just learn about organic farming and sustainability practices in a real hands-on-experience. Note: You must register with VKSU one week prior to the date of service. ONGOING INDIVIDUAL OPPORTUNITIES: Mondays (May 7 - November 12) You can volunteer between 8:00 am - 5:00 pm *You must register on Friday, the week prior to volunteering, by 4:00 pm!* Thursday (May 10 - November 15) You can volunteer between 8:00 am - 5:00 pm *You must register on Wednesday, the week prior to volunteering, by 4:00 pm!* GROUP ACTIVITY INFO AND DATES

If you have ever had or currently have any type of allergic reactions to bees, this opportunity is NOT available to you! Anaphylactic shock symptoms are immediate, 911 response is 25 minutes and the nearest hospital is 35 minutes away! |
| KSU Grounds Department | Various locations around KSU | Volunteers are needed to help mow the grass, cut weeds, edge, pick up trash, water the plants, prune, and complete other various tasks as determined by the Crew Supervisor.

| Museum of History & Holocaust Education | KSU Center | Work directly with the staff of the exhibit; schedule and give tours; greet visitors; assist staff with maintenance and resource development. Volunteers are expected to dedicate 4-8 hours weekly. Must wear business casual attire. Exhibit is open Monday-Friday from 10:00 am-5:00 pm. |
