To
facilitate the budgeting, reporting, and analysis of KSU
resources, the Budget and Sponsored Operations Office
guides the process of translating academic and administrative
plans into fiscal year budgets, develops and establishes
an environment which will maximize external funding for
research, scholarly and creative pursuits of faculty,
and ensures the university is in compliance with federal,
state, and Board of Regents regulations. In addition to
the oversight of the university budget, the office is
responsible for the post-award financial administration
of contracts, grants, cooperative agreements, and other
binding documents, and acts as the liaison with federal,
state and private funding sources concerning related fiscal
issues. Our office is committed to providing accurate
and timely reports for assessing actual performance against
plan, and monitors fiscal performance to provide analysis
and decision support.
