We currently offer ESRI's Introduction to ArcGIS I course.

Introduction to ArcGIS I: A two day introduction to ArcGIS, which provide the foundation for become a successful ArcView, ArcEditor or ArcInfo user. Students learn to use ArcMap, ArcCatalog and ArcToolbox while exploring how these applications work together to provide a complete GIS software solution. The course covers fundamental GIS concepts as well as how to create, edit and work with georeferenced spatial data. Students also learn how to manipulate tabular data, perform queries and present data clearly using maps and charts. Prerequisites: No previous GIS experience is required.

   
Instructors Mark Patterson: Mark is an associate professor of geography and the GIS program director at Kennesaw State University. He teaches the introduction and advanced GIS classes and a remote sensing class. He been in the GIS field for 18 years.
