On May 31, 2009, the KSU Bookstore in partnership with Apple Computers launched a multi tiered- 2009 Back to School Promotion. The KSU Bookstore has assembled three distinct computer packages with different usage and price points in mind.
- Package 1 consists of a 120GB MacBook for $1299.00
- Package 2 consists of a 160GB MacBook for $1599.00
- Package 3 consists of a 250GB MacBook Pro for $2299.00
All of the Back to School Packages come with the following items in addition to the computer: AppleCare 3 year protection plan, Microsoft Office 2008 for Mac, 2GB flash drive, laptop security lock, carrying sleeve, surge protector, network cable, Printer with USB Cable, 25% Off Coupon on one KSU Logo merchandise item, and a 10% Coupon off the purchase of Used Books.
For their part, Apple is allowing a $229 rebate toward the purchase of an iPod for purchasing any qualifying Apple Computer at the same time. Any iPod from the 8GB iPod touch or below, will be fully rebated from Apple. Customers that wish to purchase a higher priced iPod, will still receive the full $229 rebate toward that purchase as well.
The KSU Bookstore package pricing will run until December 31, 2009 and the Apple iPod promotion will expire on September 8, 2009.
The KSU Bookstore is pleased to offer pricing that beats prices that customers can receive at any Apple Store or from any other Apple Campus Reseller throughout the State of Georgia. The promotion is restricted to faculty, staff, and students at any educational institution. This includes high school, middle school, and elementary school students as well as students from any other institution of higher education.

Believe it or not, we are only 11 weeks from the start of classes for the Fall 2009 semester. Faculty members are reminded to turn in their required book information as soon as possible.
Fall Book orders were due to the KSU Bookstore on April 1. To date we have received 60 percent of the Fall book orders. The KSU Bookstore is currently preparing for the Summer Semester Buyback and Fall book information is vital. The KSU Bookstore will buyback books needed for the Fall semester at 50 percent of the new book price. Given the state of the economy, KSU students can use any extra cash we can provide them. Don’t delay; turn in your Fall book orders today.
