Inventory Control reports directly to The Assistant Director of Accounting and Analysis. The mission of Inventory Control is to insure that the Institution maintains control of a centralized perpetual inventory system that complies with state law, provides reporting totals for insurance purposes, and maintains internal control of assets. The team is committed to insuring that all equipment that is non-consumable and nonexpendable in nature, having a life expectancy of three or more years, and an item acquisition greater than or equal to $3,000 in cost is properly tagged and recorded. Inventory control is responsible for coordinating with Departmental Inventory Coordinators to ensure that a periodic physical equipment inventory is conducted on a yearly basis.
