The SASS will provide tutoring services, advising services, counseling services, life skills training , a computer lab, lap top computers for athletes to access while at away games and much more. Much of the contact the public has with KSU is with athletics. Student athletes are the face of KSU at other institutions where games are held. This program will help to prepare athletes academically and personally. .
Student athletes have difficult schedules. Most of their classes are early in the day. Practice usually begins in mid afternoon and will last to 7 or 8 pm. The night hours are reserved for studying. It is a challenging task and the SASS program will be there to assist them.
