US & GA Constitution Exemption Exam


PURPOSE: To earn a degree from any unit in the University System of Georgia, students must earn credit in POLS 1101, or show by examination that they have a basic understanding of the Constitution of the United States and Georgia.

ELIGIBILITY: KSU Second Baccalaureate students (only) who need to satisfy the US & GA Legislative Requirement are eligible to take the exam. Students who have not earned a previous degree are ineligible to take the Exemption Exam.

REGISTRATION PROCEDURES: Students must register for the exam in person. Download the registration form, fill it out and return it, in person to the CAPS Center (Kennesaw Hall, Room 2401) . Register Early. Space is limited.

EXAM INFORMATION: At check-in, you must show an official photo ID.You will have 1and ½ hours to answer 100 multiple-choice questions regarding the US & GA Constitution. You must answer 75 questions correctly to satisfy the requirement. The results of the exam will be available one week after the administration.

FEE: No cost.
