  • "Creating a Podcast Using GarageBand" - How to edit an audio file by importing from iTunes into GarageBand, editing, then exporting.

    This podcast is an example that uses most of the "best practices" outlined in "Leveraging multimedia for learning". Included are: learning agents, using first and second person language, background audio, attached audio, and animations.

  • Joan Leichter Dominick - The Senior Experience - PowerPoint slides were imported into Captivate 2 and audio/video added. The audio was recorded at MDG). Timing is set automatically but the user can manually click through using the navigation bar at the bottom of the file. Captivate 2 software publishes to both html and swf files. On this page the projects are linked to the html files that have been uploaded to a server (not VISTA). This enables the student to open up the file in a web browser without opening the PowerPoint software program.

  • Victor Wakeling - FIN 4620 - PowerPoint slides were imported into Captivate 2 and audio files were recorded by Victor. He attached them to each slide as he recorded). Victor used the Sennheiser PC35 USB headset to record this audio. Note: At first the sound was bad - but it turned out that the headset was defective, so be sure and test.
