The Georgia Conference on College & University Teaching is an interdisciplinary conference designed to provide college and university faculty with the opportunity to discuss and share experiences and innovative teaching techniques. Over the past 17 years, faculty from all 34 University System of Georgia colleges and universities, as well as other schools in the Southeastern region, have attended. Some return year after year to learn from one another and talk about teaching in a relaxed, congenial atmosphere. The conference offers concurrent sessions on teaching techniques and issues associated with undergraduate education. Time is also available for participants to get to know each other and establish contacts with fellow teachers throughout the State and Southeast region.
CALL FOR POSTER PROPOSALS
We invite you to submit proposals for poster presentations for the 18th annual Georgia Conference on College & University Teaching. Poster topics might include: innovative pedagogy, particularly research based innovations that focus on student-centered learning; course and program assessment; teaching ethnic and cross-cultural diversity; teaching with technology; interdisciplinary teaching; and mentoring of students and faculty.

Registration must be done online. There is an option for using an institutional check.
Early registration fee is $110 if received by February 4, 2011.
After February 4, 2011 and Onsite will be $120.
Graduate Student & Adjunct Faculty Rate is $50.
The registration fee will include all meals scheduled during the conference, refreshments during the day, a reception during the poster session, continental breakfast and conference materials.
If a participant has to cancel for any reason, a full refund will be given if the cancellation is received by 5:00 PM on February 7, 2011. If severe weather forces us to cancel the conference, a partial or full refund shall be given.
