Call for Presenters Submission Deadline: Wednesday, April 1, 2009; 5:00 pm.
The Symposium of Student Scholars is seeking submissions for both oral and poster presentations. The oral presentations will be limited to 12 minutes with 3 minutes for questions and answers. The student must make the oral presentation. The poster session will be concurrent along with concurrent oral sessions. Faculty may present student work only in the poster session. Space/time may be limited for the oral presentations. Please submit early to ensure an oral presentation time slot. Those not provided with an oral presentation time slot will be asked to make a poster presentation.
Only fully completed participation forms will be considered.
All submission must come from the Mentor-Faculty Member's E-mail Account such that it is from @kennesaw.edu.
Mentors must review and edit abstracts prior to submission.
Submission deadline: Wednesday, April 1, 2009; 5:00 pm.
Students and mentors will receive notification confirming participation in the symposium and by which format by Monday, April 6, 2009.
Please include all requested information, both on the abstract form and the exhibit information form. Be sure to include both student and mentor contact information so we can contact you regarding participation once the abstracts have been reviewed.
Presenters Logistics
Presenter must check in at the registration table outside the University Rooms by 4:15pm to receive table/presentation assignments.
All posters and displays should be set up by 4:45pm. Presenters are asked to remain with their displays to answer questions and explain their projects to visitors.
The Symposium will close at 8:00pm; all displays should be removed by 8:45pm.
Application to participate in the Symposium means that you have granted permission for your photo to be used on the Symposium website unless you specifically notify one of the co-chairs otherwise.
