Travel Immunizations

What we do:

KSU Student Health Services provides Immunization Services to students participating in a study abroad class or those who are travelling on University Business.

Appointments must be made approximately two weeks prior to the departure date. Students must fill out and bring the Travel Immunizations Form to their scheduled appointments.

For a list of the immunizations, please visit the Center for Disease Control (CDC) website and select the country or destination. KSU Student Health Services is required to follow the CDC's guidelines and recommendations for immunizations.

Fees:
Student Health Fees pay for clinic visits without a copay charge. There are fees associated with immunizations. Any fees incurred from tests, injections, or medication will be billed to the patient’s Owl Express account and must be paid through the Bursar's office within 30 days.

We do not file insurance claims or provide medical codes to insurance companies. We are considered an "out of network" provider; costs incurred with KSU Student Health Services typically are not reimbursed.

KSU Health Services appointments are in high demand. For this reason, the clinic has instituted a $25.00 no-show fee for students more than fifteen minutes late to their appointments. To cancel an appointment, please call 24 hours in advance so that we can reallocate that time to another student.
