Grady Palmer Distinguished Speaker Series

Dr. Grady Palmer is one of Kennesaw State University's charter faculty members who served in the Department of Health, Physical Education, and Recreation when the university opened in 1966. He was a valued faculty member for 30 years before he retired in 1996. Dr. Palmer received his bachelor's and Master´s degrees from Middle Tennessee State University and his doctorate from the University of Georgia in Health Education. He served as Chair of the Department of Health, Physical Education, and Recreation from 1980-1984. During his tenure at KSU, he was involved with the Georgia Association for Health, Physical Education, Recreation, and Dance. The Department of Health Promotion and Physical Education is pleased to recognize Dr. Palmer for all of his professional accomplishments by naming this Distinguished Speaker Series in his honor.
