This is often an issue in Internet Explorer that has been addressed by Microsoft in the following two articles:

How much TIME will an online course require?
Since the School of Nursing and the Center for Professional Development uses the condense method of teaching online courses, you can expect to spend from 10 - 20 hours per week. This may seem like a lot, but consider the time you're saving by not having to commute to classes, and the fact you can work and submit assignments all hours of the day.
How come I get DISCONNECTED?
IZIOPro will "time out" after about 20 minutes. This is why it is very important to save your work. However, most of the time when students get disconnected, it is due to their Internet Service Provider (ISP). AOL is famous for doing this. I recommend if this happens to you, get in touch with your ISP and many times a technician can help you.
How do I ATTACH a file?
Click on reply for thread. Scroll down to the "Upload File" and check, and go over to "Browser" and click. When you do this, it'll bring up your hard drive files. Get the file that you want to attach, highlight it and click on open. Then click on post. That's it.
