How to Access Databases
- Select Library Resources.
- Select Sturgis Library Electronic Resources. (This will give you a complete list of databases. You may also use the "Subject Search" feature on this page to select only those databases about "Medicine and Health." After you have selected a specific database, follow these instructions:
- For example: Access to OVID. Select the "Yes, Here's How " link under the "Off Campus Access" column.
- You will see a verification box-"User Name" enter your Social Security number and "Password" enter your PIN and select "OK,"
- You will then be taken to information access for the current OVID password and instructions.
- When you access OVID, you may also access an online tutorial.
- For all databases accessible from Off Campus, this same verification process applies.
To access a list of all periodical holdings
- Select Library Resources
- Select Periodicals Holdings List.
- Here you will find an alphabetical listing of all journal titles owned by the Sturgis Library including those accessible electronically.
- You may also use the "Subject Search" on this page to identify "Medicine and Health" periodical titles.
