Special Requirements for the course:

  • Complete the application for admission
    Available online or by mail, call 770-420-4361
  • Provide a money order or cashier’s check for $250
  • Attach a resume of your nursing career
  • Return no later than two weeks prior to the course
  • You must have an active or temporary RN license from Georgia Board of Nursing

 

Additional Prerequisite for Admission:

  • Georgia Registered Nurse or Temporary Nursing License obtained from the Georgia Board of Nursing 237 Coliseum Drive, Macon, GA 31217-3858 .

  • A resume of your employment history as an RN  
  • Satisfactory completion of physical examination indicating a good state of health.
  • Proof of ALL immunizations: current; prior to clinical
  • CPR Certification/American Heart for Health Care Provider
  • Accidental Health Insurance (medical coverage)
  • Malpractice Liability Insurance   If you do not have this insurance, you can obtain it through: Seabury and Smith, 1-800-621-3008 ext. 45105,

  • Criminal Background Check - required for all RN Refresher students - PDF (link)
  • International nurses educated outside the U.S. must be successful on the TOEFL. Acceptable scores: Computer-based 207, Paper-based 540.
